1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when creating your account (name, email, city, interests, languages), your profile photo if you choose to upload one, and usage data such as activities you book and reviews you write.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate and improve the App, personalize your experience by showing you relevant activities, securely process payments, send notifications about your bookings and activities, and communicate with you about service updates.
3. Data Sharing
We share your name and profile photo with other participants of activities you join (you can disable this in Settings > Privacy). We share payment data with Stripe to process transactions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union (AWS EU region). Payments are processed through Stripe, certified PCI DSS Level 1. All communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS and we use row-level security policies (RLS) to protect your information.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify incorrect information, delete your account and all associated data (from Settings > Delete Account), export your data, and withdraw your consent at any time.
6. Cookies and Tracking
The mobile App does not use cookies. We use device identifiers for push notifications, which you can disable at any time from the App settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data will be erased within 30 days. Transaction data is retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
8. Children
WellMeet is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or by email.
